That's exactly what I was gonna say, lot of people throw that "hip hop his dead" around but they need to realize it's not, it's as alive as it's ever been, you just need to open up your ears and start taking chances and actually pay attention to whats going on. The radio and TV is only gonna play what's the trend at the moment, same as it's always been. Just because in the past the mainstream hip hop was great and today it's not doesn't mean it's dead, that means it changed with whats popular. I could say more but it's too much to type.
