If you about 15 gb of free space I suggest you dl it and try it out. Looks and acts good so far from what I seen. It's got Digital Rights Management all over it. So install it on a separate partition so You can have the option of choosing between XP(or whatever) and Vista. It makes XP look like an ancient dinosaur. They are giving Vista beta2 as free download.

My bad, the download is ONLY 3.12 Gigs. They recommend 15 gigs free space. Still hella big though. I'll try AIM.

What are you PC's specs, and how smooth is it running for you on Vista? I tried a beta version about 2 years ago and my computer was really sluggish. I'll give it a try if your systems close to the same specs as mines.

@ Roboman- Don't know yet still exploring
@CCCuser- YES :)
@OhCoy- Will try dvds later(just keep XP as a dual boot for that stuff)
@Carlos- My specs = 2.4 Ghz Celeron(I know) 1 GB Ram. ATI Radeo 9600 ,Via PM-800 mother board.

Overall I think this is perfect for your home network/entertainment and buisness. Better off keeping the shady work on the XP partition. Sorta like a throw-away!

I will resist installing Vista as long as possible.

The whole DRM trojan horse is a slow introduction to paying for every MP3, MPEG, or other sort of media on your computer.
