They're still hoping he'll accept the marketing deal when he arrives in Green Bay tomorrow, but from the looks of it one of two things is going to happen...

1. He rides the bench for the Packers, which would be a nightmare for Green Bay

open compition......i say right now they will have this "open competion" up untill the last couple days of TC......when they will release favre......if they cant get a trade why would they let favre TRAIN with another team during TC? mines well keep him as long as possible so he has to start fresh were ever he goes......

naw... "open competition" means Aaron Rodgers got PIMPED, SLAPPED, and TOSSED TO THE SIDE... Brett Favre will be the Packers starting QB

I would've loved to see him come to the Vikings... shit I would've given up a couple first rounders for him, his numbers last year were unreal with a subpar team around him.... but oh well, I think the Packers are fucked regardless of what they do in this situation

brett would be doing himself a favor if he could find a team to deal him to the vikes after being traded to them first and then go shit on aaron rodgers and the pack twice in the same season.

So the word is now he most certainly is not playing for the Packers. but its clear he wants to play football.. he may soon talk to Tampa Bay Bucs in regards to being traded.. McCarthy made it clear i guess that he will not be traded to a division rival.. :(
