I can definitely feel him on that....but damn, it's just sad because he is one of the rappers who made Def Jam what it was, and he's only a year older than Jay so you can't really say he's that old. From what I heard, his last album didn't sound too good, but I don't think he's washed up as a rapper. Jay did promote his album 20 times harder than he did LL's or anybody else with Def Jam, which is smart, but still a very selfish move.

I love and I respect LL for his contribution to rap but let's keep it real NOBODY is looking for LL..especially niggaz...maybe some females but that is more because of his looks....

Not that he is washed up but I do feel his time has past...I mean I dont look forward to anything coming from him...I dont even hear his name on music message boards..I cant remember the last time I heard anybody say "LL is my favorite rapper"..he ALWAYS get's respect but nobody is checking for him anymore... at least not that I see...

But he is the a legend in rap but I think his lack of sales is due more to what I have just described and not because of lack of promotion...oh well..

I seriously think him leaving def jam would be one of the best things he can do for his career.....he's 100% right, how can an artist be president of a label and still have his own product coming out? the sad thing is, although he's respected by the industry, I don't think many labels will be jumping at the chance to sign him.....
