Another interesting fact is that Mac Dre grew up in the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Vallejo, but hung out with people in the Crest, so that neighborhood adopted him. E-40 initially lived in the Crest, but moved to Beverly Hills as a kid. Later on the Crest and the Beverly Hills had a rivalry. E-40 was the main rapper from the Hillside, despite living in the Crest first, and Mac Dre was repping the Crest despite him living in Beverly Hills and eventually East Vallejo, he never actually resided in the Crest.
