Limewire legal injunction?

I opened up limewire today--I use it a torrent client--and it tried to get me to update the version, i go to their website and this pops up:

^^^Its a dangerous game downloading off of limewire searches if you're on a windows machine, but its a good torrent client. There are a million other clients I could use, I'm jst curious about what happened with limewire.

lol, my failure at the internets aside, is there a new crackdown on file sharing? I'm interested from a intellectual property rights perspective, not a 'i need a new torrent client' perspective.
