click the intergrated sampling button.... then press f2(source). under source change source to resample...... click f6(rec) then select the trigger depth .... click record again then play the sound you want to resample..... then slice it how you want and there you can play with it.,..... i hop that was simple enough for you

what do i do to save the sample without losing it when i leave integrated sampling?

after you record it you have to hit the slice tab and slice it the way you want.... then click execute and you will be able to play it on the keys
