Lil b is the next common/ talib

I read he is replacing black thought in the roots

/trollface
at least you admit your over doing it, some of these dudes act like Lil B is something special. Dude is not even rapping hes talking. If folks are so desperate for a message the rap industry is in real trouble. I've heard Lil B fuck up some tight beats in the past but now hes not really even trying to rap. Why waste good production on this wack mothafucka? The beats on this album is not even that good to me though

Two of their biggest hits, but it is now in the open that these songs were in fact references to the freedom / acceptance of homosexuality in the world.

LOL!

I know they are both married to women, one of them to a 80s super model, so even if that's true it's not about them. I've never heard or read that about either song that the members actually said that, just speculation with no proof. Those songs are pretty vague in refrence to what they are talking about so you could say they are about dozens of different things. Do you have a link where one of the two stated that's what they are about? Or even just to Roland Orzabal saying that seeing he did 99% of their song writing.

Either way, I don't care even if they are... they were a great band and made a couple of classic albums that I can play from front to back.

LOL!

I didn't read it online I saw it on some show (20 / 20 or dateline years ago) if I remember correctly. Either way, it's all media and whether or not it's true, your right... it doesn't matter. It's great music.

In answer to your question, I searched for a link, but came up empty

Both those bands suck in my opinion, Tears for Fears made some actual really great music. To each their own though.
Respected, but c'mon Bro. Seriously? A-Ha was a one hit wonder & Men At Work had maybe 2 to 3 hits. Not to mention Tears for Fears which had like 3 to 4 hits.

Not too many artist / bands in the 80's had numerous hits, but the fact that there were so many is a good thing compare to music today.

I wonder how people are going to react when a real gay rapper blows up. LOL can't wait to see the threads on that shit. Cuz trust me I bet labels are looking for that gay rapper right now it only makes sense with how shit is going.

I just don't like their music personally, if someone else does that's great for them. That's why I find these threads so funny because if I like something I really don't care what others think of the music. If they don't like it, whatever. Doesn't make me like it any less because someone else doesn't Hell, I liked Nelly Furtado's first two albums a lot if we are just being honest here and I don't have any friends that do and they'd be like "why the fuck do you have these cds?" and try to clown but I never cared because to me good music is good music.

Also I don't give a fuck about hits. The two songs you posted by Tears for Fears are their only number one hits (in the US) and while I think both are good songs they are two of my least favorite ones from Songs from the Big Chair. Infact The Hurting is a much better album in my opinon by them and it didn't have a single US hit. So, yeah. Plus their are quite a few 80s bands (not just the more poppy stuff like ToF) that I love that never had a single hit.

Anyways..

THE 80s, FUCK YEAH!

Tuche' I can't even disagree with you on this. I like the fact you know how to appreciate music & stand your ground / go against the grain sort of speak.

Personally, I think there a lot of people in here that follow for the sake of fitting in, so I definitely respect you on your opinion.

Props, Bro. for real.

I ain't tryen to gain shit!!!!! I got money, power and respect so I don't need shit else!!
Then why do you wanna go out your radar to diss him? Makes no since to me.

I agree wit you.... I feel every man deserves a fair one and go head up if we have problems.... That was some bitch shit but peep this tho....... Lil B couldve done somethin back or damn, at least TRIED!!!! Now y'all might say dude who punched him ran after he did it but I see it like this....... If a muthafucka puts his hands on me and runs off imma seek revenge some type of way; not make a punk ass YouTube interview looken more stupid wit a big ass lip explainen the situation!!! THAT'S SOME BITCH SHIT!!!!
Thing about that is dude ran like a hoe then apologized less then a week(so who knows he couldve had dude roughed up far as we know). That whole punch thing was a set up for fame that failed bc it didnt harm basedgods career he bigger then ever now.

Also AP you seem like a cool person. I understand you been shot 12 times(thats way worst then getting sucker punched) god kept you on this earth for a reason. No disrespect but since you talking about revenge i gotta ask this question was there any revenge to the nigga or niggas that shot you?

Sometimes shit happens to people and its better to brush it off due to the outcome of the situations.
