That albums tight as hell, you can tell they put a lot of thought and work into it. The message is solid too, its inspirational without being preachy or elitest. The have dope guests on it too -- vernon reid from living colour, dead prez, butterfly, george clinton, fishbone.... and vursatyle and jumbo shine throughout. Its just good music, even though I'm not into that style of hip-hop usually.

I used to work with Vurs at Music Millenium years ago and he is just a nice, solid humble dude. He deserves all the success he's had.

They were in XXL or XXL Scratch (can't remember which). It was hella small but it was like a "Who to watch out for" kind of thing. That's good news. This might be our summer or the next one in the NW!

They also got a write up in Rolling Stone as one of 10 '2007 bands to watch' -- for all of the music industry -- not just rap! I dunno though, I worry their music is too smart for the mainstream and too 'hip-hop' for the hipsters for huge commercial success, but they have been grinding so hard for so many years I hope they get as large as they want to be....
