Homicide ruled out after foreigner falling to death from villa in Xiamen
A foreigner in Xiamen was found dead in the backyard of a villa on Huandao Road Sunday morning, reports Xiamen Daily.
Police have ruled out the possibility of homicide in his death after the field investigation.
The man, a U.S. national who was in his 30s, lived with his girlfriend in the villa at Xitouxia, Huangcuo, Huandao Road.
He was found dead, lying in the backyard of the villa, with a few abrasions on his body about 6 o’clock Sunday morning, according to police.
His girlfriend said she found him missing after daybreak.
It is reported that the man died from accidently falling off the top floor.
The case is under further investigation.
