Went to the Premier of Licks in Oakland tonight, great movie, well put together. LICKS | (2013) If anyone gets the chance or lives around the town I suggest seein this movie.



The premier was packed, people were standing in the in the walkway an sittin on the rails and shit.

Movie is made up of a few rappers some known and some less known and some early stage actors. DJ Upgrade and Stevie Joe have parts in it to name a few.

There's another showing on Sunday at The New Parkway Theater in Oakland, look it up.

Right now they're pushin through Film Festivals and shit, my potna is Associate Producer and my cousin is one'a the stars, even without bein so close to the movie tho I was able to sit back and it was really a good ass movie.

Between this & the Oscar Grant movie, Fruitvale, the town/bay gonna have a lil shine on them. Granted, not in the best light. I wonder if the Hughes Brothers are gonna push to make that tv series about pimpin in the bay again.

Man, if you see this, you're gunna be surprised. Was a good ass movie, not even gunna ruin it.

But yeah it's a good look to have a couple movies bein centered around the town. Shit was crazy outside Grand Lake last night, it was packed for hella long.
