I WOULD HAVE 2 SAY THAT THE SICCNESS DEFINITELY BREEDS MORE CONTROVERSY THAN ANYTHING ELSE....ALL THE POSTS WITH OUTRAGEOUS MULTIPLE VIEWS ARE THOSE THAT HAVE A CONFLICT INTEREST....NOT THE ONES PROMOTING ALBUMS OR DISCUSSING TOPICS THAT HELP US UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON IN MUSIC.....I FEEL WE SHOULD PETITION A "CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT,STAY THE FUCC OUT THE KITCHEN" FORUM WHERE EVERYBODY CAN JUST GO TALK SHIT & BASH RAPPERS,ETC...WE NEED 2 SEPERATE THE BUD FROM THE SHAKE CUZ A LOT OF TIMES I GET ON HERE 2 DO SOMETHING MUSIC RELATED & END UP IN THE 30 MINUTE TYPING CONTEST WITH SOME DWEEB MF I DON'T EVEN KNOW.....I'M JUST ALWAYS TRYING 2 FIND SOLUTIONS 2 PROBLEMS SO THIS IS WHAT CAME 2 MIND...MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE A POLL!!

i feel you on that. been coming on here for years. seen many high profile bay area rappers on here as well as dj's and producers who would talk business and let their fans know whats going on and networking opportunities. then the users would run them off the site with a bunch of bullshit ass comments. it's sad but the only way your going to fix that is have a highly regulated forum which i would prefer but it's going to be hard to beat the reputation that this site has already built with its users as well as rappers mentioning the site on their albums.

there used to be a gang of rappers on here.

JT the bigga figga, coolio da unda dogg, brotha lynch, lil cyco, taji-he-spitz, cellski, etc ( i cant think of many right now for some reason) that arent on for various reasons but the underlyin reason is the ignorant people on here that dont respect when a artist uses his free time to go on here and try to talk to the fans directly.

it's really even more sad when someone posts a new album in the works and everyone just hates on it, even though its not out.

but its been like this for years and probably wont change

What you expect? Most people everywhere are idiots, not just the Siccness.

On the bright side, I've learned on this board some people are non-bias and not looking to stir it up and therefore I trust there opinion on music. There's plenty of users not out to stir it up that let folks know when a release sucks and when its solid.

For all the so called controversy this is still the internet. Most people watch the news to see who got killed, robbed, etc... Not for walking an old lady across the street.

The good topics always get alot of hits whether they're controversial or not. Just watch how many hits "KILLA TAY-NEW ALBUM" gets. Fans and non fans who never meet each other physically get connected on a forum. It's not that serious.

JT came on here speaking bad about one of his own folks and then tried to take it back.

CELLSKI came on here like he was LIL FLIPS right hand man and then turned around dogging LIL FLIP yet MESSY MARV, CBO & YUK doing songs with him.

LAROO comes on here and promotes his new projects all the time. It's never a problem cause the cd's are always solid and LAROO don't speak about nothing or no one else except helping a nigga get a few more record sales. NO PROBLEM!!!

LYNCH used to show up and then disappear just like he does with music.

KILLA TAY gets on here and has stuff to say about alot of different topics. It's all good in the end cause no one is losing sleep over it. Just entertainment.

Honestly i got an album out that i did like 5 years ago wit noteable bay area features...although well recieved by a local fanbase i feel like it aint my dopest shit like the album im bout to drop..so i've been hesitant to post a link on here to my music as of yet..not becuz i aint confident in my shit but i would like to present my music in the proper context for a site like this.. but for the record im WHITE and i rap so the haters already stacked against me! i learned this on myspace...lol i used to get hella pissed and want to fuck up every hater on the net..i aint the baddest but i aint soft neither and i gotta say im pretty sure i could stomp 99% of the muthafuckas haten on me! but the thing i started to realize by lookin at the profiles of dudes haten...none of these fools was doin shit in music or life period..they have very sad and pathetic lifes half of which is spent on the internet, not to network or be productive but to hate and get a rise out of people who otherwise would never speak to them..now a days i could give a fuck bout what anyone sayin bout me cuz the bottom line is good or bad they keepin my name in they mouth and ultimately it will cause others to become curious about what im doin..behind every successful person lies a pack of haters and thats real..find one artist or anyone makin money that everybody likes..they dont exist!

Exactly...plus this is a generational issue as well. Maybe the older siccness members would adhere to this kind of set up, but when your young you think and act your age. Another thing is that there way of telling who is who so some of those people talking shit could and more than likely are your competitions people or themselves with a different name. All you can do is make real music and let the chips fall where they may.

I think its a good idea to have a forum dedicated to people who are artists or connected to the business in some ways, but then every myspace rapper who ever pressed up a flyer or every pro tools producer who made a crappy beat would feel like they were entitled to be a part of that forum to. What would the criteria be?
