New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that due to problems with a work visa, Brock Lesnar will not face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP title on the promotion's 7/17 Sapporo (Tsukisamu Green Dome) show. The promotion is offering refunds to fans with tickets for the show.

Brock Lesnar has been stripped of the title and a tournament will be held to crown a new champion.
