I saw a brief mention of this in a thread (UFC 108 perhaps?), so i figured I'd post it.

UFC President Dana White told TMZ.com that Brock Lesnar is suffering from a major intestinal disorder
and will require "major surgery."

Lesnar is also currently suffering from mononucleosis.
Link.

Bad, bad news for Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is seriously ill, and he'll be going to the Mayo Clinic so doctors can figure out what to do -- but it will probably require major surgery, UFC President Dana White said.

White said Lesnar is "very, very sick" with some sort of intestinal disorder. He was recently misdiagnosed with mononucleosis.

"There's a possibility Lesnar will never fight again," White said.
Link.

I hope his career isn't over and this is just some kind of exaggerated speculation or rumor. I've liked Brock since he started with WWE, and I really only started to watch UFC to watch him.

This is terrible. I'm not a big fan of him personally but I really do enjoy watching him fight. I hope he can get through this and fight again.

rumor I've seen floating around is it's cysts on his liver, which can be a byproduct of roids. Makes sense with how secretive they're being about what's wrong with him.
Hope he ends up alright so Fedor can be the one to end his career.

seriously though there's still a lot of good fights left for him, hopefully he recovers and can come back sometime next year.
