Yeah that is a good indication.


At the same time, if you find a site that delivers quality knock-offs, they literally will take the shoes off the same production lines that NIKE does so you are getting the same shoe you would pay twice as much forever.

Some of the knock-offs come from less than standard places though, so with those you can tell the difference easily..

They only problem is you cant really tell what is a quality knock off or not. In all honestly, id rather pay for the real deal just for wear and tear reasons.

I bought a pair of replica AF1's off eBay for like $40...they looked and felt exactly like the real ones, except for one tiny change. I couldnt tell and i rocked the shit out of them.
