Lebron has led his team to a 45-29 record. Currently on a 9 game winning streak. Lebron is on fire. 6 triple doubles this year.

Notable Games
W- 106-99 Miami (16-25)47 pts 12 reb 10 asst(6th triple double this yr)
W- 107-94 Dallas (16-23)46 pts

Another W tonight against phili, 37 pts from lebron. The man is avg 42 pts during this winnning streak. The two clutch assist from lebron to murray inlcuding the clutch shot by lebron vs toronto the clutch steal he had on yao ming.... I want someone to come in here and tell me that lebron is not deserving canidate for MVP this year. This kid(my bad this man)... is 21 years old and he is shitting on everyone right now. Right now he is playing his best he has ever played. you can see it in his eyes and you know what im talkin about if you watched that cavs vs heat game last saturday. The higher the stage is set... the higher lebron performance. Already clinched playoff spot the man now has something to play for and he's eating everything up like a monster. just imagine what he's gonna do when he gets into playoffs.

I still stick with my word. LEBRON IS BETTER THEN KOBE. period.

^He shouldn't because he didn't score 81? so should i switch that around and say kobe shouldn't win mvp because he didn't record as many doubles and triple doubles as lebron did this year.

ESPN STAT
Players who scored 30 pts plus 5 rebs and 5 assist a game
Lebron 35 times(you guys are ignoring this little stat. this is phenomonal)
Wade 20 times
Iverson 16 times
Kobe 15 times

How many double doubles and triple doubles does kobe have?

Lebron
6 triple doubles this year
21 double doubles this year.

Wins During streak
New Jersey,Miami,Dallas,LA Lakers

Lebron 35-point mark in nine straight games and is averaging 38.6 points on 52.9 percent shooting over that span.

Vs New Jersey
The tying points came on a vintage James move as he drove the lane on a fast break with two players hacking at his arms yet somehow managed to spin the ball off the glass. The three-point play tied the game at 101 with 50 seconds left.

"He's a great player," said Carter. "He shares the ball for 3 1/2 quarters and in the last six minutes he turns it up. He's phenomenal."

Heres a game log(i think you kobe fans should pay close attention to)

PTS FG
W-37 12-26 46%
L-36 12-24 50%
W-37 13-22 59%
W-35 13-24 54% 12 Reb 8 Asst
W-35 16-25 64% 12 Reb 10 Asst
W-47 16-25 69%
W-46 14-34 41%
W-36 13-26 50%
W-37 10-21 47% 11 Reb 12 Asst

Right now last 9 games lebron is avg 38 pts a game shotting 52 % from the field. He's only 21 yrs old. If this guy doesn't get MVP this year then that is truly fucked up.

Only thing Kobe did this season thats been "amazing" is put up a lot of high scoring games. Other than that, he really didnt do nothing. He got his team to the playoffs, so what? All the other MVP candidates got their teams to the playoffs too. Not to mention that the Lakers are only a 7th seed. if he ever starts to make the players around him better, then he should be a serious candidate for MVP. Until then, putting up a lot of 35+ point games and catchin one of the last spots in the playoffs wont do it - cutthroat
I agree 100%

I meant Kobe, who scored the 81 points and is averaging 35.1 points per game should get it. I didn't mean an MVP candidate has to do those things to win.

I'll admit he's a candidate..but he shouldn't win it because he didn't score 81 and doesn't average almost 35 to lead the league.

@ Oh Coy just because his team is weak doesn't mean he shouldn't be MVP. The Most Valuable to his team...without Kobe they'd be worse than the warriors...
Actually...thats the whole point of the MVP award....the man who makes his team BETTER...refer to numerous threads that have disected this theory...

MVP for MLB=Best overall player in the league...
MVP for NFL/NBA=Player that helped his team the most to be the best

Have you nt noticed that ALL the MVP candidatews are Playoff bound teams???Matter of fact..besdies Kobe...ALL the candidates have their teams in the top 4 slots in either the East or West....EXCEPT Kobe.....they are making an exception becuase hes the biggest ball hog in the league....

And youre right....withut him....they are nothin....and when hes playin...they are STILL nothin....he doesnt make them PLAY better like Tony,Steve or LeBron....he just BEGS for the ball and SHOOTS it 30-40 times a night....how is that making his team mates any better????He has NO confidence in his team....AT ALL....

If Kobe wins MVP this year....ill never watch the NBA again...as much as i respect his game....hes the exact OPPOSITE of a TEAM player....

kobe should be uplifiting the team, not striking fear in them...
i forgot who they was playin..but they were down by one, with like a couple of seconds left...luke walton had the ball, he was about to go for the lay-up, and you should have the seen the expression on his face, it was like, "oh shit, i can't kae the winning shot, thats kobe's job" type face! lol I shit you not. and he sloppily passed the ball to kobe, and of course the "MVP" missed it. they lost the game....

it was actually 32 11 and 11. but yea he got my mvp vote. and to become the second youngest player to get a triple double in the playoffs thats just ridiculous. lets see how far the cavs can go into the playoffs

LeBron is much more deserving to win MVP than Kobe, I'll give you that. But neither of them should get it if you ask me. Steve Nash is my pick and he deserves that shit more than anyone in the league.
thats fine...
anybody BUT KOBE! lol
I ain't gone lie i don't like the dude...
but i tell you thihs though, if i felt he deserved the MVP I would say so...he has barely came into the leadership role i would say, 2 months ago...MVP means all season
