Has anybody seen this kid hoop. He is a senior in HIGH SCHOOL got his games on fuckin pay per view. He gettin his own shoe deal and everything. I seen him play up on espn 2, i wasn't impressed, he just looks more physically developed than everybody else so that is why he scores, he went like 0 for 7 on 3 pts. He is a bitch. and he will get whupped on in the nba probobly and he would be stoopid to go straight to the nba out of high school.

hes definately gonna be the 1st overall pick. So if he went to college and turned down multi million dollars, that would be stupid. Eventually, hes going to dominate in the NBA.

I was going to clown for posting old shit, but your the only person to talk down on the guy. A big reason for his dominance IS his physical ability, and that WILL change once he gets into the NBA, but thats not really what everyones looking at. Alot has to do with his mindstate, and with that, he should adjust to the NBA atleast at the same pace Amare did. James wont be the best player in the NBA, he may never be, but he is worthy of a number 1 pick, and most of the hype he's getting.

Why would somebody NOT go to the NBA str8 out of High School??? Think of it for a minute genius. what "IF" he decides to go to college for a couple of years, and in between those couple of years he has a "CAREER INJURY" For example, what if he breaks his knee cap...Do you think he'll still have the quickness, stamina, speed etc that he used to?? I think not. Look at Tim Hardaway and what happend to him. He broke his knee, he came back into the league slow as fuck, WITH A SLOW ASS KILLER CROSS OVER. And what happend, he wasn't worth 6 shits anymore...And if that shit DID happen to Lebron James, do you think anyone would actually sign him anymore??? NOPE!!!

so its a pretty tough decision to make, be a fuckin Millionare and LEARN the fundamentals in the NBA, or go to college risk an injury and fuck your hopes and dreams up if you do get injured. Which one you chose?

come on now dog...think

Re: Re: Lebron James

He could always go straight to the NBA and get injured without making any real money, where will he be then. I think that will lessin his chances of making a return. I would go to college, only cause of the pride I have for my local college, other then that, I dont see it as a horrible option. Go for a year or two atleast.

He's make close to 35 million gaurenteed without shooting a basket in a regular season game. That is'nt real money?3 year, and all the endorsements!

If anyone goes to college,it's to either
a)work on their game HE'S #1 PICK,SO NOPE
B)bulk up to play in NBA WE BOTH KNOW HE'S PLENTY STRONG
c)get a degree HE CAN GET THAT,BUT WHY?HE CAN GET IT AT AGE 40

Im sorry, was that directed at me? I forgot we have kindergarteners on here. Um, ok HUMMER (was that a good one?!?!!?) I wasnt talking about endorsements, I was refering to NBA contracts, I should have specified. I you want to put it that way then yes he wont have any money problems. Have you seen these contracts? Or did you hear on espn that someone somewhere said he might possibly get 35million in endorsements?

There will probably be something saying he has to actually play in the NBA for x amount of time to be elligable for further money. Nevertheless, I dont doubt he will receive big bucks, but there is no justification in my book for missing out on college. If i were him, i would go for atleast 2 years.

Maybe if he was going to be a lawyer or some shit then go to college. But dude is a baller, and he can gain nothing by going. He can only risk himself getting hurt. (see Willis McGahee) Not that basketball is as high of a injury risk sport as football, but you cant rule it out.

Did you just ask me what he can get from college? ummm... an EDUCATION? Tell me BornSin, name the last 5 players where college injury has completely riddled their NBA playing days to where they couldnt earn enormous paychecks. You can throw that McGahee shit out the window, cause that is a sport where there are numerous player TRYING to hurt you. C'mon, name some players.

Don't miss out on 2 years of college..lol to learn what in two years?what degree could you earn? Why not 1? or 3?.pointless unless you can graduate in 3,then turn pro.

Randy Livingston........All I need to say...

Git that bread, people trip when it's black folks, but let a 13 year old white girl go play tennis, and she's a star.Or a white golfer, and he's the next Nichalos. But let it be a black hooper, and he's not ready, and should git some college years under his belt.
Git your paper LeBron, better to be the #1 pick now, then a #1 in a few years.......Larry Bird rule comes quicker

I couldnt. But fluke shit does happen.....And like BAMMER said, what type of education would the kid be gettin for goin to college for 2 years.......Like he wouldnt be taking the easiest possible courses just to maintain a reasonable GPA.....What would he become? An economist, lawyer, teacher? In 2 years?

The reason kids go to college is to learn some sort of skill to make money........LeBron has already learned his. And its time for him to get paid.
