I'm sure you know the feeling. You get a game, think it's gonna be decent and realise you don't like it... at all.

Prototype

I had this game since '09 and never played, put it in other night got a couple of achievements and took it out, could not get into it at all.

Ok before I answer the topic at hand, I gotta ask you...who is this sexy ass chick in your sig????

Onto the topic. I got Metro 2033 from GameFly, and that game was pretty bad. I played it for a bit, and I thought the controls were horrible, the graphics were mediocre and the story I just didn't give a shit about lol.

The last game I bought that I wish I hadn't played was Splinter Cell Conviction. Keep in mind I haven't even tried the story, only co-op with a friend, but it was really stupid.

Of all time? Chaos Legion... A game with so much potential, only to be left as it stood during the editing portion of the games production.

Modern Warfare 3

I really liked MW2 and had high hopes for MW3 despite not caring for any other COD games. I will say I liked the very last part of the game when you're in super armor, but the rest was pretty meh.

Also, I really liked Metro 2033. Awesome atmosphere and story. I agree the controls were a pain in the ass and it didn't help that your equipment was very weak, but game was dope.

i hadnt really played any call of duties since CoD1 and Cod2, played those on the PC and thought they were simply fuckin amazing awesome games.

so like last year when i got my PS3 i popped it in, played through the singleplayer, and was shocked and disgusted when i beat it in like i think it was 4 hours. couldnt believe it, and i wasnt even doing too good either. i mean ive played shooters on the pc my whole life, never with a controller, so for me to beat it that easy and fast i was disgusted. i thought ok, its just single player, these games seem to be all about multiplayer, so i played online with my cousin and went something like 3-30 or some shit. cant believe how fast you die in that game, its like two bullets youre fuckin dead. its so unbalanced its ridiculous; i understand having to deal with a learning curve, you cant just pop in as a newbie and expect to do great. but to have multiple disadvantages like everybody has golden weapons or whatever the fuck is was and theyre literally like 4 times stronger than you, is just ridiculous. this is a game that to me if you are "good at the game" its like 10% actual skill, 60% upgrades and perks you use, 30% knowing the map and spawn points and playing all day

i might check out a call of duty game if they ever make a good single player that lasts like at least 8 hours. but aside from that call of duty just disgusts me as a whole franchise when i look at how commercialized and dumbed down the game is nowadays

also, Shadows of the Colossus

that game is so hyped up and all that shit as one of the best games ever created, so i bought the re-mastered ICO collection for the PS3 which includes that game.

anyway the game is so boring and one dimensional i couldnt bother to play it after i slayed like the first 3 colossus'. i might give it another chance when i get a big tv that way i can be more immersed into it; it seems to be all about immersion. but as it was it didnt wow me at all, actually it almost put me to sleep and made me pop back in GTA IV, lol

I completely agree with the multiplayer aspect. You would think they would match people within ten ranks of each other, but they throw a first game newb up against a 10th prestige level 70 or whatever. It's probably the biggest reason I haven't been able to get into any CoD MP other than CoD4, which was the most balanced.

Also, if you want an awesome CoD campaign, play Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I think it's a decent length and is a ton of fun.

im a big fan of rpgs and Final Fantasy in particular but FInal Fantasy XIII was the worst piece of shit game i think i played on the newer consoles that i had some expectations for at least. Im spooked to even give the newer one a chance even though i heard its a lot better. I cant think of anything more recent cuz i like all types of game and am generally not usually that disappointed

I usually read the shit outta reviews before playin a game so I know what I'm gettin myself into

But I'd say that dragon age 2 was the biggest let down recently. Not sorry I played it but I'm sorry EA/bioware released such a shitty sequel to a good first game

Borderlands. I heard good things about it so I bought it used. I just couldn't get into it. The entire first part of the game was almost nothing but killing "skags" and the occasional bandit. The art direction was cool but the beginning of the game was just so boring to me that I couldn't stand playing it. I returned it a few days later.

oh... yea that is pretty old huh, lol. for some reason i thought it was new

actually now that i think about it i may have played it before, is that the one where a nuke blows up while youre in the helicopter and you die real early in the game? played it. that campaign was pretty sicc
Yeah that's it lol. That game is so awesome, that it put Call of Duty on track to become what it is now, even though the games now don't stack up to that one, campaign wise or MP wise.
