I guess this is a good pick up for them but now they are loaded with guards : Rip Hamilton, Chris Whitney, Ty Lue, M.J., Hubert Davis, Juan Dixon, and now Hughes??

Its gonna be tough to find minutes for all of these dudes assuming MJ comes back.

Hughes has been a major bust so far and I don't see that changing.
I had high hopes when GS got him, but he left me shaking my head nearly every game. Horribly inconsistent outside shot, lack of intensity, and injury-prone.

I'll be surprised if he's still with Wash. at the end of the season. I expect Rip to step it up big time this year (will someone show that kid how to lift weights) and the rest of the minutes will go to Juan Dixon.

sure, everyone questions his size (Rip is his weight training buddy) but dude has mad heart. If anyone read that ESPN Mag article on Dixon around tournament time, you gotta believe in him. (him in the next room while his parents were shooting up, both his parents dying from AIDS, him sneaking into the Maryland gym the night before games and just chillin on the floor till 3AM)

when larry hughes goes up against this guy in practice, he'll wish he was still in school.
Can you picture Hughes beating out Dixon to a single loose ball? Just once???
nope, MJ is gonna make Hughes grab his ankles and send him home crying.

I can see it now: Larry Hughes, 2002-2003 NBDL MVP

Don't be suprised if the Wizards trade a couple of them guards for Jamal Crawford of the Bulls(and others).
MJ and Crawford are real close, and went like 19-1 in summer league games when they were on the same squad.

I think that the Bullets could sneak into the 8th or 7th sport in the playoffs next year.

Richard Hamilton is the key to this team. He averaged about 22 a game last year and if he can up that to 25/26 this year, with MJ puttin in his 22, they will be a nice team. They need Kwame to step up too.

Kwame brown was supposed to be the tightest mothafucca in the L as far as rookies last year.
I don't watch wizards games unless they playin my team the clippers but as far as i no from fox sports ol boy was warming the pine all year.
Bottom line ri hamilton or not the wizards need to dump a couple 2-guards and bulk up in the front lines with a power forward [maybe kwame will shine] but as of now he has yet to prove i too me.
Somehow i don't think i'ma be mincin' my words on it.

What fucked up Larry Hughes was that the coaches tammed his gaming style. Yall remember when he first came to Golden State? He had sooooo much potential, it looked like one day he was goin to be a huge star. But the next year his game got tammed he wasn't taking over games like he was his first year at Golden State.

If Larry Hughes can get back to that raw style of playing he's going to be good.

^ No doubt i mean hughes is one of the tightest and always has been in my eyes since his days in st louis but I agree with cuzz on that ol boy did fall off a lil as of last season but only beause that faggot nigga jamison and him went crazy at about mid season for personal stats.
Get Jamison out of there and l-Hughes will shine
