This is the type of album that you can bump at anytime. It's smooth all the way through and has mob songs, hyphy songs, laid back songs and it's all to the good. If yall want something good instead of average, GO SWOOP THIS!!!

Yup! Just got my copy from Frisco Street Show yesterday, and I was really impressed w/ the variety that Laroo presented. He kind of did the same thing on TRASH-N-TREASURE (which I also dug and still bump on the regular), but the production on HOOD JOURNAL seems stepped up as far as engineering...Laroo comes off to me as someone who has some things to say (w/ his lyrics), he says them, and that's that. He doesn't beat around the bush or take five minutes to say something that he can easily say in three minutes. I'll be bumping HOOD JOURNAL a lot, along with his new comp, as soon as I can get a hold of that...

PEACE!

Laroo: I once told you that before I get that Hood Journal, I gotta buy every of your previous projects. Well, I just got Fear No Fate and it's tight like a muthafucka. I heard that Journal on northern-ridaz and it was great, not in the same atmophere that the 1st though, but still great.
