Yea, Ming didnt play "good"... SHAQ dropped 31 and 13 on his ass. Yao showed some pretty good defensive skills against the big man for his first time, but not nearly what it takes though. Kobe struggled shooting, so he contributed in other ways by grabbing 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals. I didnt get to watch much of the game, but from what I can tell it wasnt the greatest. Lakers lose for the first time in 2 weeks, I aint trippin.

Yao played very well, he showed how verasatile he can be at a young age. If you watched the whole game you will see that early in the game Ming had Shaq playing right under the rim, then he drops an outside jumper on Shaq, this made Shaq have to come out and defend Ming better which opened up the key for Francis and others. All though Shaq had the better statistical night hands down, Ming's team won and Mings swat on Shaq will stick with a lot of people. I was really wrong about this kid, I am still not sold like a lot of folks, but he has devolped well in a short period of time.

first off, Ming DID play good....

...the entire 31 and 13 didn't come against ming.....notice, as ming played 38 minutes....to shaq's 47
If a 330+ semi out of shape guy can last longer then you on the court, then thats just another way that SHAQ beat him. Being able to play the whole game is a part of it, MING was gassed out there cause he couldnt keep up with the big man.

Naw Shag didnt really dunk on Ming, he did dunk but not over him!! U exaggerating that!! Again Shag got the better of the matchup, but he easily should have like everyone thought, but it was still closer that what people thought also!! And Houston won and Mr. Franchise killed Ko-Me!! GOT EM!!!

just as you said..you DIDN'T WATCH THE GAME

they both sat out for about the whole first half of the second quarter...with shaq coming in a couple minutes before ming......it was just bad coaching if you ask me.

I didnt see the WHOLE game. The part i did see, was when Ming was crouched down holding on to his knees while on the side waiting for a free-throw shot to happen, breathing heavily. The anouncer even said "he is gassed", thats why I got it from.

I would agree that Ming does need to work on his conditioning. He did looke to be gassed out 6 minutes into the game, I understand that he probably had a lot of adrenaline rushing through him which eats away at you also, but for Ming to make a major impact in a 82 game season, he will need to work on his wind. Still though we cant excpect everything from him overnight.
