La Coka Nostra have officially signed with Suburban Noize Records for the release of their upcoming debut “A Brand You Can Trust”, which will be released through the label in early 2009. The group will embark on the Bring Tha Noize Tour alongside Kottonmouth Kings, Blaze Ya’ Dead Homie, Big B, Potluck and Short Dawg beginning in late February through early April.

"It's official! La Coka Nostra has joined forces with Suburban Noize to bring you our debut album, ‘A Brand You Can Trust’. We are very excited to be working with Kevin Zinger and the entire Sub Noize family and look forward to finally unleashing the LCN war machine upon the current candy-coated, watered-down and auto tuned-out musical landscape that popular rap music has become,” says La Coka Nostra’s ILL BILL aka the Cult Leader. “This record is a no holds barred burst of hardcore hip hop to the fullest, representing everything we love about this art form but feel is missing from the game right now. To show you we're not alone in our thinking we're bringing Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Bun B, Psycho Realm, Immortal Technique & the Alchemist along for the ride. We know a lot of ya'll feel the same way we do, so we're using our voice to speak for those that may not have this opportunity. That's why La Coka Nostra is ‘A Brand You Can Trust’. Album in stores first quarter 2009!”

Maybe once in a musical era’s lifetime does a revolutionary collision occur at the four-way intersection of underground, old school, new, and mainstream. Such an anomaly has finally materialized within a hip-hop world that has – for all intent and purpose – otherwise been tapped out. Founded on a new breed of rappers, but further injecting the mix with iconic veterans of the game the result is LA COKA NOSTRA.
Didn't see that coming...

What exactly did you exempt? Or did you mean accepted?
when I first saw the logo I thought they were a Subnoize group at first I listened to Necro but I didn't really care about Ill Bill, so I didn't really know what they were about.

Now that I know more about the group, I say this could be a good move for them, maybe, but I probably won't care

*sigh*

If LCN can catch the ball and run all the way to the goal line then I don't care about what they are signed to. It's an odd move tho. Everytime I think of this stupid label KMK comes to mind and the only thing hot about their stupid group is the beats. The content and parody is garbage. How hardcore can LCN get when a lot of them are on their way down in their own careers? Ill Bill is shifting and so is Everlast. Slaine I would possibly say is the illest member of LCN. His LCN shit ain't up to pare with his solo shit though. Very talented writer. Underrated tho. I can't even tell if Big Left is in the group anymore. Fuck.. If LCN got together like 6 or 7 years back shit would have been incredible most likely. Ill Bill in my opinion had his day groupwise with Nonphixion. That to me is one of the best group in rap that I ever heard. Up there with such favorites as Westside Connection, Wu Tang, Strong Arm Steady, I.M.P., etc... You know what would have been tight if B-Real was in the group or Jacken.

Until I hear someone on Blazin' 98.9 spitting some real shit I don't give a fuck. Hip Hop is on a downward slope towards a casket. Vocoders and stupid fucking love songs about bitches being heartless. Fuck that.. I'm lucky if I hear Tupac, Cypress, or Ice Cube on the fucking radio anymore.

...And I wish Eminem would disappear... Because his album is going to kill it...

They want to save hip hop bring back real dissing and beefs. Not 50 Cent vs Game shit more like Pac on some Hit Em Up type shit. That alone with at least bring some life back into this dying branch of music.

*claps*

I say let it die, cause once hip hop has died then blame must be spread among these bubble gum faggots, and even their stupid fans will come to hate them, and will learn to appreciate real hip hop and will turn to the underground/real artist that rap.

Eminem aka "Slim Shady" said he was gonna kill wack artist when he pretty much helped start this wack phase in hip hop by being 50 Cents life support, cause whoever liked Em liked 50, and 50 was making that bubble gum shit which influenced all of these bubble gum artist such as Soulja Boy.

radio is forever dead.
