Yeah I think I was reading something on this. Don't they determine if it's worth a high speed chase by the seriousness of the violation? I still don't see police not pursuing a chase anyways.

pitty mayne it's been in effect for a couple days only.the seriousness part is if it's for a pursuit of a felony that occured or will occur.like this morning on the news they had a two hour low speed pursuit of sum fools that just got done committing a 211 in LA.

i watch the news everyday and it's always sumthing about LA.so i just trip out on the crazyness out there.

Highspeed chases are never worth it.
Not when innocent lives are at stake.
I hate high speed chases and I hate it when cops participate in them. It's not like the bad guys are going to get away! Not when there's a helicopter hovering above watching them.

Highspeed chases are a cop's line of cocaine.
They fiend for that shit....

How can they tell if a felony will happen? I can't think of how they can know it will happend before it does. That might just be there excuse. I don't know. I don't trust the system at all.

lets say the rolla patrollaz gotta narc and he tryin to get some work and is askin for wieght...the narc and the pusha link up and the deal worx out and goes down smooth, but once the supplier gets in whiparoni and finds out that he's surrounded by rollaz and decides to smash out...

bumpit, the fedz are buyin and supplyin, so they know about the drug bizzness, who's got it an how much they workin wit, so polarz should just let thangz that like that slide because they more than likely already have info on the person through surveilence an thangz.. but any other felonies like assault or robbery should be pursued by the ghetto bizzerd...

they cant but simple logic sais that if a person with a broken taillight speeds away from the police they have something to hide. now it can be something simple like no licence or a joint in the ashtray. but it can also be an individual with a weapon under the seat (felony), a person with a key of coke in the trunk (felony) a person with a stolen car (felony), and the list goes on. also taking that stand tells all would be criminals that all they have to do is step on the gas and the cops wont chase them. its the wrong messageto be sending to people involved in criminal activity!!!!!!!!!!!

SanFransico also changed the highspeed chase law....
I think its a great idea to not risk innocent lives for something as small as catching some crack head getting his fix or some shit. Everyone reaps what they sow anyhow.

Yea but just cuz the cops ain't gonna chase em don't mean their gonna get away scott free. I'm sure they will take down the license number and detailed description about the suspect and follow up later. I it really worth killing innocent bystandards based on a suspision that somethin ain't right. I don't think so...
