It’s not every day a musical genius is born. On July 14, 2009, KRIZZ KALIKO will release his second solo CD, GENIUS. Along for KRIZZ KALIKO’s aurally eclectic rollercoaster ride are E-40, Kutt Calhoun, Big Scoob and, Strange’s flagship artist, Tech N9ne. Powered by a fusion of funk, rap, rock, R&B and opera – a self-made style KRIZZ KALIKO calls “Funkra” – GENIUS covers the entire spectrum of genres, from the slow and seductive “Get Off” with Tech N9ne and the rock-flavored “The Chemical” to the street anthem “Back Pack” and the album’s crossover single, “Misunderstood.”
“There are only a few guys to come along in music every so often that I think are geniuses,” KRIZZ KALIKO declares. “You got Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Kanye, T-Pain, Tech N9ne. I think those dudes are geniuses. I want people to think that same thing about me.”
Ambitious? Yes. But after working with Tech N9ne and Strange Music for 10 years, performing over 200 shows a year, KRIZZ KALIKO has earned the right to claim that title. His solo debut, 2008’s Vitiligo, landed at No. 19 on the Billboard charts and he has been instrumental in Tech N9ne’s incredible success: In 2008, Tech N9ne SoundScanned over one million units, making him the most successful independent Hip Hop artist in history.
KRIZZ KALIKO is the sonic “glue” of Strange Music. “I’m Tech’s right hand man in writing,” he says. “It’s a weird, beautiful chemistry. The yin and the yang. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.”
When asked what inspires him, KRIZZ KALIKO explains: “The whole world doesn’t know who I am. I want to be respected for years past my life. I want to be remembered way after I’m gone. I want to be a legend. That’s a lot to live up to. That’s what this album does.”

I do agree that Kally is over rated by many, but at the same token he's one of those guys who you know has almost unlimited potential. He's a good rapper, great singer, and his Vitiligo gives him something to talk about.
I liked Vitiligo it had some awesome tracks, but it also had bullshit like saucy (wtf was that?). Based on that, I think he can both put together a "genius" album, and also disappoint.

Krizz is awesome and besides Ghetto Love and Let Me In he has come hard on all of Techs tracks, I don;t know how Strange's music would sound with out him, and I am glad he is on the label. I think he was a little overused on sickology and tech should expand to have a variety of sounds on his hooks but he is a giant contribution to tech and strange, it amazes me that some people don't like him on here.
Ok? check the join date I was here long before The real tech n9ne forums. Funny thing about this forum is it's strange music yet everyone here is always trying to jump on everybody else for dick riding tech. Why because I support a decision of strange music's that instantly im licking there ass? If i hated strange music I wouldn't be here. Obviously I support there music and support most of the decisions. If you know it or not I do infact make my own opinion, I haven't agreed with every strange music decision, but overall the company as a whole is ran pretty good.
Tech n9ne owns 50% of the label or so that's how I understand it so that doesn't necessary mean that he even wanted them on there it could of been T.O pushing for it and tech rolled with it. Even if it was all of tech's decision then so what its a business move. Just because a certain person thinks a group is awful doesn't mean the whole world does. In the end if it puts more money in his pocket with no big disadvantage then surely hes going to do it. As far as tech being associated with grave plott thats going to hurt him very minimal I think being associated with ICP is much more harm.. But thats just my opinion
If you wanted to prove me wrong by saying that Grave plott is infact associated with tech because its his label and they are signed to a distribution deal through Strange music then thats all that had to be said. Because I guess thats true in a way, I was just trying to point out the fact that tech doesn't go out of his way to be associated with grave plott by trying to get them on his album. However trying to jump on me like im some idiot tech n9ne dick rider just makes you look like an idiot. What's funny about it is that you only said it so you and your own personal cocklovers can prop eachother back and forth and take shots at someone who you believe to be from TRT9.
