Thank you for posting this!

From the first listen of the snippets i'm not so impressed.
IMO this can't beat vitiligo, but Genius, Getcha Life Right, Dead Wrong, So High & for sure Happy Birthday sounds really great to me.

I didn't want to ruin it too much so I listened to about 5 seconds of each song and it seems there may be about 3 or 4 I won't listen to. That is just my guess off of 5 seconds which is not really legit because I need to hear the whole song first obviously. So far so good though, is it just me or does it seem that the shortest songs are the best? They got the hottest beats and when you listen you just say "damn, why ain't this song longer???" Once again, I have to hear the whole album first.

Props for being a little more versatile this time around, which should have happened on the first album, given he's the creator of "Funkra" and all. However, even the snippets fail to hype me up for this album. Don't know why I can't get behind Kaliko's project.

Anyway, looks like we've officially got our three singles for this one:

All three releasing June 30, 2009. Click on the cover to go to the singles respective page on Amazon.

Snippets never ruin it for me. I only listen to them once and I never remember what the songs sound like until I hear the album for the first time. Maybe my memory blows, who knows. But yeah I think this will be a solid album, maybe not as good as Vitiligo, but who knows. Happy Birthday, Get Off, So High, Genius, Chip On my Shoulder, and Doe Doe sound the best, but these are just snippets.

---------------------

I will not write in English because if I do not know is stupid, I will give my opinion and who wants to be translated, I think that is going to be awesome, Vitiligo at the time I had to listen several times to find meaning as it was not nothing to what I expected, however if the Genius that is what I expected, combining all the styles managed to perfection, much more instrumental chosen undoubtedly works of art such as Bipolar, Misunderstood, Choir Boy, Chip on my shoulder, Genius, The Chemical, Happy Birthday .. I do not know all the wonderful pieces I found, making it clear that it is a musical genius and can play any style you like, I was delighted that I have no doubt pre-purchased the album is a great investment, I think with what I heard will not disappoint me at all.

Greetings.

PS: Sorry but I said, in Spain there are many forums where we talk about Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Kutt and others, this being the only forum where I can not comment I do to achieve a good well-written opinion, if someone who manages both languages translation, editaré my post and put it so everyone can read it.

I think strange is hopin genius will help break them into the mainstreem picture and major labels n what not. Thats kinda how Kaliko made it sound in that Peter Parker interview. Even tho some of these snippets sound kinda commercial, I still don't see the break trhu into mainstreem happening.

I'm liking what I'm hearing on over half of these snippets, I'll definatly be picking up the album.
