I will be purchasing one of these soon but i dont know which one. I wanna make hip hop beats. I know each of these keyboards have different models, some with more keys than others, is there a significant difference in these models?? Also, ive seen people use MPC's with these keyboards, what do they use it for?? They also use turntables to sample records onto the mpc, but isnt there already a sampler on the actual keyboard? Let me know if u can. thanks.

MPC's do two main tasks... Act as a sampler and as a midi sequencer. If you already have a sampler and sequence in something else (Cubase for example) then realistically an MPC isn't going to do anything for you.

As far as those boards, nobody can tell you what's best for you. You need to go to your local Guitar Center (or whatever is in your area) and listen to each of them. The spec sheets you can read online with a simple google search. 3 different boards, 3 different sounds, all 3 capable of the same (more or less) thing. If I had to choose only one, I'd likely go with the Fantom... But that's me.

I know people with multiple keyboards with sequencers and use the mpc to sequence..it cant be explained and truly comprehended...when you actually get some real hands on then you understand.....as far as keyboards.....you dont need the biggest one..unless you wanna play live piano....I have a motif and although it has some great electric pianos/strings.....the bass sounds are mediocre....so unless you plan on getting multiple racks or keys Id recomend the fantomx6 model...great all around sounds
