i have it and i don't really like it, it along with every midi pad controller out there feels cheap but its instruction manual isn't very helpful and i've yet to find any kind of support line to use this thing to the best of its ability. That pad thing on the bottom I've never got to work along with pretty much everything aside from the pads which are only useful on scene 11, whoever mapped out those scenes is a fucking retard they shoulda had them set from 1 to 16 just like they would have on a regular midi board like 0-127. The routing software doesn't do anything. I spent all this time assigning the pads like i want them (how they should have in the first place) and it didn't do anything. The pads are hard and feel cheap no cushioning to them at all and one of mine doesn't even work right, i only had this thing for less than 6 months. I don't know maybe reason doesn't communicate with the maping software right or something but i wasn't impressed with this piece.

I'm thinking about selling mine for like 100 bucks and getting the new one AKAI just put out that costs the same price any takers?

what program are you using with it? Hold scene and press pad 11. Like I said Scene 11 is the only one worth a shit. I never got the assignment software to do anything. This thing shouldn't be that complicated since 90% of people who fuck with pad controllers are people too broke to buy an MPC and alot of the time are new to this. I'm not new to this and I found this thing too much of a bitch to figure out. It might just not like reason

check your MIDI settings in whatever software you are using, If you are fucking with their asignment software good luck, I quit on that shit after fucking with it for hours it just wasn't worth my time. i just use the thing for a controller for my drums and loops in reason. When I bought it my choice was either this or the M-Audio trigger finger, they both felt equally as cheap but the korg one looked cleaner and had more features that I've been yet to be able to use. I just wanted some pads to bang on but all those units are so janky its hardly worth it. Id pay a cool 4 bills for a pad controller that acrtually feels like a real piece of gear and not just a toy. They hella rob people who like a software environment by giving them plastic crap to control their labs with
