Full line of clothes inspired by outfits worn by characters in the game.

The Metal Gear franchise is headed to an all new platform, and we're not talking about the Xbox 360 debut of the series with the upcoming MGS: Rising. Konami has announced a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker men's clothing line. And no, this isn't a late April Fools' joke.

Featuring tee-shirts, pants, a hat, sweatshirts, a long-sleeve shirt, and a jacket inspired by clothing worn by characters in the game, the Peace Walker clothing line, created in collaboration with Musterbrand, will allow Metal Gear fanatics to take their love of the franchise to a whole new level.

"The mass success and support for our latest Metal Gear Solid hit has allowed us to expand beyond what we've done in the past with the series, and we are very much looking forward to offering this new line to a global community of fans," Konami franchise development guru Careen Yapp said in a statement.

The Metal Gear clothing line will be available online in the U.S. and Canada beginning April 11. Konami said it plans to add new items to the line on a quarterly basis.

Not something I'm into, but my homie designed all the clothes as well as the website. He's currently working on 6 more collections. Told me the launch was a big success even though they didn't put in one cent for advertisement. The original idea was to actually be able to buy clothes that are in games. But they had production problems so these clothes are just based on games.

So your friend has a sweat shop of his own I take it?
Lol, yeah. He was on a trip through Asia with the company in charge Otto International and they checked suppliers in India, Thailand, Hongkong, China,...after many problems they stopped doing business with the Chinese Factory. The clothes are all high quality and limited. And they are for geeks. C'mon...computer game clothes...

But when he visited me last year after his business trip, he showed me his drawings and there was some cool shit like bags etc....
