I am not at all suprised that no one has mentioned the recent GM survey on players, teams, and coaches in the NBA. In a recent poll, General Managers have voted Kobe Bryant to be the best Shooting Guard in the NBA, Iverson wasn't even close.
Who is the best shooting guard in the NBA?
Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers 52.4%
Tracy McGrady, Orlando 33.3%
Allen Iverson 4.8%
Paul Pierce 4.8%
Ray Allen 4.8%
Which player in the NBA would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers 52.4%
Reggie Miller, Indiana 14.3%
Tim Duncan, San Antonio 9.5%
Kobe also finished in a tie for 3rd for MVP predictions, and 4th for players who a GM would sign if they were staring a new franchise. Interesting, not only do espn/nba analysts agree with me, but now GM's as well. Ahhhhh, what do General Managers know about basketball anyways, right?
