And he will live to be one of the greatest of all time. No amount of hate for 1 team or 1 player can really take that away. Ive noticed theres not a whole lot of REAL sports talk on this board. Just alot of FUCK THEM FUCK THAT FUCK THIS. Ive seen 10 different people post about how the Lakers "suck"... ok, c'mon now. So now to the subject at hand. Everyone in here would justify Jordan's being the best of all time by the numbers he put up. I decided to post this after reading the Kobe vs. Jordan thread.
Do you people not understand he is playing along side arguably the most dominant player in NBA history?? Does that not sink intom your head? SHAQ averaged 27ppg 11rpg 3apg 2bpg. Without him, someone else is going to get those, thats right kids, Kobe. Jordan didnt have ANYBODY above him on his team. So lets test the theroy and look at kobe's latest efforts shall we? his last 2 games are as follows...

These numbers will continue to grow as he gets used to a shaqless laker team. You can throw out that well jordan is the best cause he has all those rings, as we all know kobe is on his way. Im not saying Kobe is better then Jordan, im just saying, dont use the fact that you HATE everything about the lakers in your decision. Lastly, one other person speaking on how Kobe matchs up to Jordan... Jordan himself. Now...

We understand that perfectly well. And thats the reason he's got 3 title rings. I mean without Shaq, his numbers might go up, but that dont translate into Championships. Talk this type of shit when Kobe wins a title without the most dominant force in the NBA to help him. 2 good games dont mean dick.

Ok let me break it down for u potna!! Kobe is a top 5 player in this league as of today!! He is the second best player on his own team though!! Please dont ever compare him to Jordan, cause he aint even close, matter of fact no one is!! Jordan was unreal, from his rookie season until he retired the second time!! It took Kobe a few years before he started ballin, but now he is there, but he wouldnt have any titles without Shaq (Big Aristotle), and everyone knows that, matter of fact, they wouldnt be a playoff team without Shaq!! There will never be another Jordan, so please dont make a fool of yourself!! Kobe is a tight player and a good complimentary player to Shaq! He will go down as one of the greatest players when hes done, but not the greatest player though, that tag belongs to Jordan!!

Like i said, he's been GOOD his entire career, this is just without shaq. And yes Jordan did it without a dominant player like shaq, but however he did do it with one of the best rebounders of all time (rodman) and pippen too, as well as a list of other players on his squad.

I agree 100%, but the thing is, Jordan was 21 when he came into the leauge, Kobe was 18.

You guys are trippin, i think Jordan was definatley better then Kobe is right now, i dont know what your arguing.

First of all, the argument is dont even put Kobe in Jordan's class, cause it aint close!! Jordan was the best player ever, and the best player every year in the league before he retired the second time.. Kobe isnt even the best player on his own team!! Secondly we dont just judge Jordan on his stats, we also judge on how he would take over numerous games, and teams would know he was gettin the ball!! No one will ever do what Jordan did!!

Also if u gonna speak on it, speak on both sides, because however many of us that say the Fakerz suck, there are the same amount that say that Sac (2003 Champs) suck as well!! So dont be 1 sided folks!!

Im not 1 sided, you will never see me knock the kings. When speaking on sports i spit real shit. I mean i dont play the sport so its not that serious, i talk my fare share of shit to my friends and all, but i never knock teams for no reason. Im a big time laker fan and if you ask me, i think the kings are better then they have ever been, and fully capable of eliminating the Lakers, but opf course as a laker fan, imma roll with my team reguardless. Kobe will live to be one of the greatest of all time, he will be in the hall of fame, and better or worse then Jordan, he will be in the same class.

Kobe will never be in the same class as Jordan!!!! Point Blank potna!! He may go down as 1 of the greatest players, but he will never be in Jordans class, cause Jordan is the greatest, not just 1 of em!!! And I am sorry to say but the Kings will end the Fakerz run!!! Now thats spittin the real potna!!

Well like most of u Fakerz fans, u talkin out the side of your neck! The only legitimate shot the Kings have had was just last year, which they really did win, but ofcourse the refs took that away, but thats another story!! Anyway yes it will end this year so enjoy your 3 titles while u can!!

Look at Kobe's stats from the beginning of his career until now, then look at Jordan's same stats. You will notice that Jordan only got better after his rookie season. The man went to scoring 30 or more points per game for like 7 years in a row. MJ has broken and set nearly every scoring record possible. He won scoring title and defensive player on the year in the same season. 5 mvps, 6 finalz mvps, 10 scoring titles, and that aint even half. Kobe hasnt won none of that so dont compare him to Jordan in anyway. Jordan is the best and thats the way its gonna be.

KOBE HAS SHAQ THE 1ST OR 2ND BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE.

JORDAN DOUBLE TEAM ALL THE TIME. KOBE CANT BE DOUBLE TEAMED BECUZ OF SHAQ. IF KOBE DIDNT HAVE SHAQ IT WOULD BE A DIFFERNET STORY.

So you must have completely missed the whole part about how Kobe has the most dominant player in history acumulating all those stats. Shaq is scoring 25-30 a game every year, break that down among the team and most of it is going to kobe player. Stats only mean so much. If you put Kobe on the warriors, he drops 35+ a game gaurenteed, its all about where your at and who your with when it comes to stats. Lastly, its funny how your going to try and make a lagetimate statement about this and open it with "Fuck Kobe". Clearly you hate him, why would you ever admit to his skills. How much can your opinion be worth in this case.

Jordan was voted the greatest athlete of alltime, not just Hoop, but sports period!! There is my elaboration!!! Take it like a man!!

how can ya'all say when Kobe retires he wont be on the same level of Jordan? ya'all have no idea of what Kobe will do from now 2 the time he retires. Kobe could get the scorin title but he is being a team player and not a ball hog which is the way it should be.
