Kiwi Shoe Polish - how the FUCK do you open a new can??

This is probly the most random ass ? on the OF but:

I'm gonna lose it. I have a meeting at 3 and all my shoes look like shit.

I've been wrestling with these two fuckin cans for like half an hour. I've tried everything I can think of - trying to pry it open with a screwdriver, twisting the top, pushing from the bottom...

This shit is gonna drive me insane. I just need some fucking shoe polish. I would go downtown and get it done but lucky for me to live in the suburbs.

So anyone ever opened a new can? How the FUCK do you do it? This is like one of those fuckin chinese puzzles. This is gonna drive me insane.

Ive never had a problem with my kiwi polish. mine dont twist off, they kinda slide off. its a snug fit, you just gotta wiggle it off. dont pry it though cuz you're just gonna indent it and make it more difficult to open..

try taking the blunt end of a screwdriver and tapping it around the edge of the top of the can... kinda "round out" the edges... it should slide off easy after that.

Just get the Kiwi liquid honor guard , lasts about a day before that shit starts to crack. That shit got me through all my inspections in the military just fine.
