I think he hurt the Kings more than he helped. Towards the end of the Kings glory days, he was more of a cancer than a help to the team.

I'm particularly thinking of that year they had a legitimate shot to win the title when Peja was a MVP candidate and he came back and fucked everything up.

I'm not taking away from his skills because he was like a 20-10-4 guy but yeah, I've had both good and bad memories with him being a Kings fan.

he didnt take us to no damn top. if anything he shot us in the foot by coming back too fukn soon.

that just shows you we have no tradition of great athletes comin' thru Sac.

might as well retire Slamson and the Gorilla's jerseys. at least they played every game.

IMO, if anyone, rick berry's jersey should be retired. he died right after we drafted him, tremendously cool person.

bottom line......we havent done shit for jerseys to get retired.....PERIOD.

that's like charlotte bobcats retiring jason richardson's jersey or memphis retiring big country's jersey.
