i dont know, usually, by the time an athlete starts whining about their money, when they finallyget it, they usually fizzle out.

Another good move by the Kings...Bibby had ONE good post season and they dont wanna over pay him for that. We sign him for one more season and if he can do it again then they will max him out. the Kings will still be able to pay him more than any other team after next season.

No doubt next season will be one deep crop.In a way I kinda want the Kings to just hit Bibby with the one year and see what happens this season and decide next season.Kidd would be the kings of King$.He just might want to return to his Northern Cali roots.

Yah but if you think bout it, he is what made the difference in the team, instead of getting swept the year before they made it to game seven, the series should have been ours though, but to be the best you have to beat the best. If this is true...maybe they could swoop on Kidd, that would bring so much to the team i belive a championship.

Some admittedly slightly myopic predictions

  • The Kings will resign Bibby to a 1 year contract.
Nobody will be entirely happy with it.
Keon Clark will flourish in a Kings uni.
The Kings will win 65 games and take the West again.
The Kings will defeat the Lakers in 4 in the WCF.
The Kings will resign Bibby to a 7 year deal.
Everyone will be happy. (edit - except Laker Fan of course)
