i know i wasnt the only BART breh that was anticipating Life of a Kingpin (No Limit version). im not sayin he was the greatest writer, nor am i stating he had good concepts. but somethin was there. aside from you children on here that only know him from his post No Limit local grind, or the stories posted on here about his post No Limit local grind, most you older players can quote a KG bar or 2...perhaps.

after he left NL and put out his own label, he had me like i was with NL when they was still in Richmond, tryna buy what ever they dropped. but he failed there. he couldnt pull that off. he had a lot of dope artists but his distro game was super fucked and i dont think half his artists dropped.

honorable mention. King George fucked the song up with his 4 bar nursery rhyme. but this is a classic.

KG has some dope albums and songs, I could give a fuck what anyone else thinks. Technically, yeah the man ain't the best rapper out, but he got some dope beats and made some classic hood shit back in the day. Life of A Kingpin is classic album. Tru Player is dope, and i remember him killing that song he had on Million Dollar Dream. I was trying to support his label cuz he went nationwide getting some talent (like CCG out of KC Mo), but that shit never got off the ground.

i fuck wit KG! i copped whatever he had for sale out in front on rasputins.. and god dammit it was the same songs time after time and burned ass unlabeled cds w/no tracklist and a paper insert, but i fucked wit em! i'll still cop any non-recycled material he'll drop these days, even tho the last few comps he dropped had hella of the same songs on em lol but atleast he dropped another album of new shit, even if it was only like 9 songs

^^^LOL.

SMH@MCing being brought up.. None of them TRU cats were super lyrical geniuses but they all had their moments were they came off decent. King George had some decent verses songs here and there even though he sounded like an old man with phlegm in his throat.

King George was far and away the worst of them all...by A LOT. Voice. cadence, delivery....fuckin god awful. He had no business rapping. Ever.

And you notice...that the people in this thread only being up "his" beats, and nothing about him as an MC? Red flag.
