Starts at 9:00pm for us on the West Coast.

So Kimbo vs some guy with a glass jaw? Good match-making Gary Shaw, trying to build Kimbo into a superstar by KOing nobodies. I heard one of the CBS announcers compared Kimbo to Oscar de la Hoya AND Tiger Woods. LMAO. I like Kimbo and all, don't get me wrong, but uh that's an insult to Oscar and Tiger who have actually accomplished things in their careers. I just wonder how Kimbo will do against someone good. I think he's like 36, so he might want to pick up the pace a bit...

bullshit stoppage in the Kimbo fight. But seriously, WTF that was disgusting shit! I was sickened by his ear before teh fight even started, then the shit pops!?!?!?! lmao, nasty shit.

Kimbo kinda was getting beat down though in the 2nd round, not sure how the fight would have panned out if not for the stoppage, but luckily for Kimbo dude's retarded ear exploded. I aint never seen an ear blow up b4 in my life, hope i never do again!

i really don't think it was a bullshit stoppage....

if you watch enuff MMA there have been fights before that have been called when the fighter was still standing..

thompson was getting PUNISHED b4 the stoppage....theres no way KIMBO wouldnt have knocked him out if they would ahve let it go..

overall...i think it was a success for CBS and ELITE...

im a kimbo fan but he should of lost this fight..ref could have easily stopped the fight in the 2nd round when kimbo was defenseless and gettin his face pummeled on his back...

Damn I'm surprised they called the fight... should have let dude at least hit the ground before ending it... seems like the UFC would have let it keep going.
They were on CBS so they stopped it. PPV would have let it go. Kimbo is over-hyped. I want to see him fight someone remotely known and in somewhat good shape.

lol ... Y'all actin like Kimbo should be dominating fools. Dude is literally a rookie. He knows it too.

I was mildly impressed with his defense from his back and his ability to reverse and to get back on his feet.

I was surprised that he couldn't put Thompson down though. He rocked him a couple of times in the second round but wasn't able to properly close the distance to finish.

based on what I saw tonight, he would lose.

But Kimbo is good for ratings. I mean, how would this shit on CBS do w/o Kimbo?

America has been wanting the next Mike Tyson so badly, and Kimbo has that intimidating/psycho look, so the appeal/want/demand is there, but unfortunately though I just think he started his MMA career way to late and he isn't going to fill that void.
