Anyone who likes RTJ's 1 or 2 should clarify that they like dance music and not rap music. Killer Mike is official but EL-P is a single syllable rapper and is painful to even listen to. The beats are good, hence why it should be called dance music.

i havent listened to run the jewels because its not really my type of thing, but to call el-p basic.....i dunno, i came from the company flow era. that would mean youre crazy. maybe hes changed up and has gotten more basic.

i would have said el-p is far too complex for his own good. once again, thats judging the music he put out since company flow to fantastic damage. not run the jewels.

Hmm, I've only heard El-P on RTJ's. Rhyming almost entirely single syllables, sometimes words and sometimes single syllables within multi syllable words. Either way, it was painfully uninspiring to me.

this is the el-p i know. i dont know about the shit on run the jewels. i just didnt like where the beats were going so i never bothered. but when most people talk about el-p theyre talking about shit like this:

i mean, just to back up el-p as being a good rapper.
