His attitude was cool last year with the Panthers. The Raiders could use Keyshawn. Porter, Johnson, Curry...

I just dont understand why the raiders need all these wide-outs. Every one they have are good contributors so if Jerry Porter can step into that number one role succsesfully than I dont see any need to get Johnson. I dint understand the resigning of Alvis but along with him we have Curry Gabriel Jonny Lee the new kid from UTEP, Carlos Francis and Mike Williams. Thats more than enough. Just think of all the wasted talent that wont make the final cut if we get Johnson.

Because none is a star like Keyshawn johnson none has ever performed like keyshawn none are as good a run blocker as keyshawn is you cant juss expect every draft pick you get to step in and be jerry rice it dont work like that the Raiders do need Keyshawn he would be good for the team and he hasnt been whining fa years and was very productive in in dallas and carolina juss like he has been for the better part of his career you build a team around rookie Wr they need time juss like Qbs do and they can learn from him that is the main thing and it will open the offense up more to have alot of talent on the field and way harder to cover it'll open up the running game and vice versa

I understand what your sayin, BUT Jerry Porter can fairly be called a Vet hes played and learned from the best. Hes been trying to get the number one role ever since Rice and Brown left so why not give it to him. Hes deserving of it, his numbers in the past have been better than average. I think if they dont sign Johnson he can easily have a 1200 yd season. Ronald Curry can be a good 2 reicever so that leaves the rest of them to battle it out for that slot position and the two reserve spots. They have Morant, Williams, Higgins, Whitted, Gabriel, and Francis competing for three spots.

long time ago, johnson said he always wanted to be a raider, he grew up watching them, so maybe if raiders were to offer, most likely he'll take it, but honestly raiders dont need him

you got a good point and he has learned from the best but sometimes having different options and someone that is a proven gamer does help curry is a lil suspect cuz of his injuries while keyshawn has not been injured that much whitted juss i dont know is garbage to me francis is a gamer when he is healthy i like his speed morant needs more confidence in himself gabriel never should have been traded i have not seen williams play and higgins is a rookie so i dont see him playing that much if he makes the roster it might be practice squad for him and they could give porter the number one role i really dont look at stats i think for me it would be what did i do to help my team win not if i caught 10 balls and had over 100 yards receiving like did i make a key block to spring my running back or didnt drop any catchable balls or did not do anything stupid like penalties. if porter is the only one and they dont get keyshawn teams will simply figure out a way to contain him with keyshawn it could open things up so porter could produce and have good games and vice versa

If Keyshawn goes to the Raiders, they're gonna go ALL THE WAY!! I feel it!! Even though every team in the AFC is better than them!! It can happen!! Any given Sunday! :-(

Mayne...I think we should sign Keyshawn Johnson. I think Porter is going to be the number one receiver regardless. I think Keyshawn Johnson has averaged like 70 catches these past few seasons. I would sign him and make him our number 2 and line Curry up in the slot. We all know he (Keyshawn) won't blow by anyone because speed is not his strength.... but with his height, experience, and hands he could be a reliable target in our passing game. He knows how to position his body and use his body as a shield against DB's. Could you imagine Bly trying to cover Keyshawn? Denver said they're going to play a lot of man to man press coverage. Keyshawn with his experience probably knows how to get off of the line on them little DB's. Other than Porter and Curry I don't trust those other receivers. Gabriel is cool... but them other ones (including Mike Williams) are all suspect in my opinion.

the person said "i bet he waits for a better team" is wrong because these are the ONLY two teams that are drawing intrest.....so if these two teams dont sign him he wont play.......its not like ethier of these two teams will give a whole lot of money....hes going to get the vet mininium and thats about it
