well...ONLY Walter Johnson could sustain his success all throughout his 1913 season when he ended up with a 36-7 record and 1.14 ERA. Back then pitching was more dominant then hitting, today it is the opposite. Greinke will not have those kind of numbers...no pitcher ever will but he is doing his thing in a hitter's era against some of the best offenses in all of baseball this season...White Sox Twice, Blue Jays, Tigers, Rangers and Indians....
Go ahead and keep telling yourself its not how you START the season but how you FINISH the season then. Last time I checked Greinke finished off last season with a 14 inning scoreless streak aswell...so he FINISHED off last season GREAT and has STARTED this season GREAT too!
To be the only one in a category with Walter Johnson and Fernando Valenzuela in the entire history of MLB is an accomplishment in itself.
