KC cops ticket homeless guy & take his sign

I was at a stoplight today looking over at the homeless guy whos always seen around the city with his sign which read something along the lines of "Homeless anything helps God Bless" However his sign today was much different. The sign he had today was very creative. I asked what happened to his old sign and he flipped over the sign to show me a ticket that was taped to the back of his sign....The guy got a ticket because the cops said it is illegal to have a sign asking for food or money if it has the word "homeless" written on the sign. I thought that was crazy so I asked him if I could take pics of the sign and he agreed.

Its the black dude whos normally by the plaza. He was standing at 47th & Main today. Hes always looking super sad. I gave him a couple bucks then asked if I could take the pics. I wanted to get a pic of the Not a Thief Not a Robber sign then he flipped it over and showed me the ticket and thats how this thread came about.
