why do you keep saying your coach knows so much about rivalries he's coming from Arizona... the NFC West rivalries aren't even real rivalries compared to the AFC West
Todd Haley “Growing up in the household that I grew up in the Steelers-Raiders rivalry was important,” Haley said. “Once you have it I don’t think you ever lose it. It’s not like some point in my life I said, ‘Hey, I like these guys, they’re cool’.”
While Dick Vermeil and Herm Edwards downplayed the emotional elements of the 50-season rivalry with the Raiders, it sounds like Haley is more along the lines of Marty/Carl/Gun, where things are personal when it involves the silver and black.
“I’ve made it clear to the team that everybody in this building needs to have an equal dislike. We’ve got to start re-establishing the great home-field advantage we have.”
Herm was a bitch...straight up, he said he cannot hate any team no matter the circumstances when asked about the Chiefs-Raiders rivalry 2 years ago.
FUCK THAT!
Haley knows about rivalries man, albeit there wasn't any real rivalries in the NFC West, you better believe he knows about the ones here in the AFC West!
Im sure Cable is the same way, he just seems like the type of guy that can easily hate something...lol
IMO this is exactly what the AFC West needs to get back to what we used to be...one of the toughest divisions in all of football!
