i aint from kansas city but i'll tell ya where im from
yo man we already had this post, but i'll tell you where my head rests the most
im livin in the atl but my heart's on the lake coast, its the best city but i dont like to boast
livin the chi-town way, livin rough in the urban decay
it not easy livin, its like livin after doomsday, streets dirtier than an ashtray
dead ppl ended up on ur driveway, life in the chi aint no sundae
killas runnin through ur gangway, but its good cuz the girls love foreplay
drivin down lake shore drive, this da city where gangbangin thrives
ppl actin a fool tryin to talk jive, gettin shot up and not bein able to revive
sets throw up their 6 or 5, beatin cats up if they dare to arrive
other cities got hoods or projects, well we got both, ppl joinin gangs taken the oath
ppl pledgin their troth, thats why gangs only see growth
