i am back from my vacation to the east coast.....and WHAT A TRIP!

Zero (my homie) nice of us to hook-up......thanks for showing me around....hope you get the word on the people that sent you stuff!!

anyway back to my point!....
kansas city is sleeping on the hip-hop/rap seen....these people from the east have never heard of kansas city it seems....they think we fuckin milk cows and shit....
when i talk to cats about midwest rap out there ...all they know is NELLY!.....oh and BONE!

the first thing that i realized when out there is there radio stations are pimp!.....they have dj's that are not afraid to speak mind and knowledge....now i know some of you peeps will come on here and tell me its all business or whatever....

BUT whatever "business" they are doing it is a lot better than the shit here......first off...they have a true hip-hop station....for rap only!!!!

that is what KC needs....fuck a 103, 95.7....etc etc....

anyway i will tell more as people post......

good shit man.. but yea we all know kansas has no true rap stations... shit we been complainin here in wichita for years bout we aint got shit either... no one will go out on a fuckin limb & make the move to start some shit... so maybe one day..

& i think it's cuz you in such a larger place out there man.. in NY & MD there is hella ppl.. so that's the main part KS & MO lack... but good shit man

i agree......i also think that it is because people dont look at KC like it is a "rap town"....

people have never heard of TECH N9NE out there....and i talked to peeps that listen to rap......and not just your average folks... (nelly, ja, jay,...etc etc...)

but when i let them peep the AP, or Angehellic.....they were really feelin it!!

yea dude.. i guess i am a pc nerd or watever... but whenever i'm on mIRC or when ppl hit me up bout my FTP server.. i'm always askin if they heard tech n9ne b4...

most of the shit is, i've heard OF him.. or it's hard to get his music here where i am.. so i turn em on to it & most love it.

but yea.. i think it's a whole KS or MO thing tho on them radio stations.. no one has enuff balls or thinks that the shit would work, but i know it would. ppl like rap & dont wanna hear all the RNB that comes with it... we need some good hardcore shit like they do have on the coasts... someday man, someday

Yeah we need someone with some money to start a station. Hella people would listen to it.

And, people havent heard of him cuz hes not gettin play. Most people that hear him for the first time love it.

And NY has a bigger base so they can have tighter shit.

Yo I don't know if you heard but me and Jenny walked our asses all the way back to Penn, stopped at a diner on the way, almost fought with some bitch in there at 4 in the morning, then I almost got my ass kicked by two gay guys on the street because I said "what's up sweetheart" to 'em... LoL. I don't belong in that fuckin' city man, I'm too much of an asshole loudmouth. So we got back to Penn at like 7:00 and home about 8:30. I don't know about you but I had a great fuckin' time stumblin' around.

You know when I get the chance I'll get out there asap. Plus, you're the only kat I officially know and I need someone to keep my skinny punk ass from gettin' the official KC beat-down...


I just downloaded "How to Rob" by 50, and I'm like "Hey, I know this track..." Man they used to play that shit on Hot97 aaaaaaaaallll the time back like 3 years ago.... Turns out I liked 50 from way back when, lol.
