the thread about norteno rap dying that was shut down for some reason. but anyways, the northern rap movement will not and i repeat will not die. if anything it is going to get bigger and better. it seems that folks want albums droppin every week but that will only mean the quality will fall. look at other labels in the rap game that drop album after album after album every month...they start to sound like shit cause they are thrown together to get it out. you need to step back and think about who is still out there in the northern rap game. we got major talent and to tell yall the truth. we out here tryin to raise the bar with every album we are gonna put out...not keep it where it's at. so many homies are workin on projects right now it's crazy. my new solo album is gonna blow motherfuckas away and the only reason i been pushing it back is because i'm bout to record a track with BROTHA LYNCH HUNG.. and it ain't no recycled verse, we gonna be in the studio together layin out a masterpiece. that's why the release has been taking long. and after the solo i got the new 114% gangsta "the gangbangination" droppin and me and big rhino's mixtape too....shit, tito b., lil coner, tokztero, big tone, deep sleep, m.a.e i mean the list can go on and on and we all gonna be droppin new shit. not to mention all the young homies out there comin up...so please yall just know that some big shit is gonna be droppin soon...as long as yall keep supportin, we gonna be droppin heat. much luv to all of yall!


and one more thing...i read a while back someone sayin my album was gonna be an "anti hyphy" album... i did one song. get over it. i got it out my system so kick back. haha

nobody is sayin its going to die. i think what dude is trying to say is that the shit coming out right now is weak as fuck. no one is steping there game up like woodie wood did. im all for supporting the homeboys in the rap game. but its kinda hard to do so when a lot of the stuff being realeased is garbage. woodie would make a cd and you would play that shit tracks 1 -17 straight because the whole cd was legit. big tone and 1 or 2 other artist are doing that right now. so in a way the norteno rap scene did kinda die when woodie passed away. just my opinion though. i know everybody has different views on who they like. but to me the norte rap scene is hella shitty right now. fools need to step their game up, i hope they do cause i see a lot of talent out their.

it was shut down because what came from it?all you do is spit negative ass shit about northern music after your favorite artist passed away. As Oso just said the same as many others said...there are many projects coming and tons of rappers out there so stop it with the "dying" b.s. You need to open your ears to other emcees and styles out there instead of clinging to just one style or artist.
