I heard that if you understand the bible, the occult, symbolism and THE WAR, then it is pretty sick.

;x

I'm probably gonna peep it today or tomorow.

Please read my post again.

Thanks.

LMFAO...anyway. I just saw it too. It could have cut out at least 20 minutes to make it more watchable and less verbose. I'm surprised you actually appreciated it since there are a lot of plot parts which I don't think are compatible with christian thought. Constantine using witchcraft and voodoo elements - which are forbidden - to perform good deeds, etc...

Read it again, and the critics still said it was garbage.
I don't care about what the critics say because I wanted to see the movie for myself. I didn't want to see it for a "steller performance that will leave you on the edge of your seat" or "this is reeves breakthrough film a must see for 2005!" nonsense. YOU may enjoy that type of rhetoric/jargon but I simply see it as a marketing tool. I went to see the movie because of the religious/supernatural/occult influence and boy was it loaded with it. The idiots....oops I mean "critics" who reviewed the movie did explain all the symbolism going on in the movie right? Riiiiiiiiiight....

Once again

Pretty sick movie if you understand the bible, the occult, symbolism and THE WAR.

If you don't understand any of the above you may find it so so....

Thats the reason I saw it. The entire movie could be considered blasphemous or sacraligious. Most people would see Gabrai'el as a woman to be sacraligious but in some lore gabrai'el IS portrayed as a woman. Did you peep the tats on his arm? Occultic origin. The trinket that he gave the broad when he went in to meet the half breed? Occultic origin. A lot of stuff went on in that movie but the average joe won't notice whats going on because they aren't in the know when it comes to the occult or religion. I remember a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago I made a post about black mirrors and astral projection. Do you remember the scene with the mirror?

The ENTIRE movie is based on "religion" (catholicism, christianity and the occult) but as I said before if you have no interest in these things the movie will appear to be so so....

@HERESY:
Hard to explain, don't know where to start but to make a long story short...

Many Nostradamian students speculate that he[Nostradamus] suffered from frequent sleep paralysis.. I'll tell you why.....
Nostradamus practiced many ancient formulas for achieving astral projection (freeing the astral body from the physical body which as the philosopher Pluto explained made it able to freely travel not only space but also time). One of them in peculiar when detailed and explained is very similar to a sleep paralysis episode. Some of them[Nostradamian students] believe that he not only had frequent sleep paralysis but that he perhaps used this as a tool to achieve astral projection.

Have you ever had sort of "out of body" feelings during sleep paralysis?

I consider myself to be agnostic (so I think that occult or black arts are just rubbish), I also suffer from frequent sleep paralysis... I don't really believe in astral projection (since it seems scientifically impossible). But I have noticed something about people who claim to have achieved astral projection... they also suffer from sleep paralysis.. and their methods of achieving so-called astral projection actually involve inducing awareness during sleep paralysis.

Thats ill. I've never heard of him experiencing it but it seems possible. From the research I've done on the subject most people do experience sleep paralysis but the majority of time it's experienced when your flat on your back. At first I didn't like it but now I simply shrug it off. I used to think it was demons and devils trying to get me but it's a "condition" actually.

Have you ever had sort of "out of body" feelings during sleep paralysis?

I can remember ONE time were it felt like I was leaving my body. I felt "blue" (I can't describe the feeling or what I actually mean by it) and was at the stage of leaving but decided not to. All the other feelings come from me sleeping on my back and when I'm dreaming. When I'm dreaming I know when its happening and sometimes I can see my room.

I consider myself to be agnostic (so I think that occult or black arts are just rubbish),

I'm a firm believer in GOD but I don't believe the arts and occult are rubbish. I've NEVER dabbled with boards, spells, agrippas or stuff like that but I have researched the stuff. I only researched it so I could know what I was up against.

Thats something 2-0-6 would say. :)

Yeah I've never left my body (I felt I was about to once) nor do I want to visit the astral realm by walking through mirrors and times. Thats forbidden and my beliefs prohibit such actions. Like I said I know when I'm going through the paralysis but I can wake myself from it now. Another thing thats weird is when it happens it usually happens at a certain time during the morning which is 3-4 am. I've tried to remember the dates of the experiences but thats no help. I don't know if it's bi weekly, once a month etc etc etc? What I do know is I'll wake from sleep and it's hard to go back to sleep but when I do eventually go back to sleep thats when it happens.
