...except I still have 3 hours of work left. Ain't that a bitch. I'm sitting here reading the manual since I can't play the game. And once I get home, I have to climb on my roof, break into my neighbor's apartment window, and steal back my PS2.

But either way, ITS FOOTBALL SEASON AGAIN!!!!!!!! Anyone else get it yet? How are you liking it?

The new additions are:

QB VISION CONTROL
PRECISION PASSING
TRUCK STICK (offensive hit stick)
SMART ROUTES (hot routes that break on the 1st down marker)

Plus the NFL SUPERSTAR MODE - Guide his life, play ball, interact with the media, buy shit, act in movies, endorsements, etc.

Damn right. NFL2k5 was my favorite football game ever. But they dont have one out this year, so its Madden's stupid ass by default.

Its taking me a little while to get used to since I religiously played 2k5, but the defensive buttons are better (X is turbo instead of Circle). The offensive Truck Stick is pretty cool. The QB scrambles just by holding X (Turbo) instead of having to hit L2. So far I've played with the Steelers and the Raiders. Randy Moss had 4 touchdowns, Jerry Porter had 2, and Kerry Collins rushed for 1 with a 134.5 QB rating. If that's any indication of real life, you Oakland people should be happy.

I started my Superstar mode. I got an 83 rated running back who got drafted to the Eagles in the 3rd round. He's 2nd string behind Westbrook, but he's a more powerful runner. Should be interesting. Once I move into my new place and get the internet set up there, we're gonna have to get some online games going on.

I bet if McNair gets hit twice in this years edition, he will be out with an injury, which sucks since the Titans are my team. I already know the Titans will not be good in the game, good thing you can customize things up a bit.

Hmm. So I played for a few hours last night. I had trouble adapting to the new QB shit. I get sacked a lot because I'm trying to remember to move my head in the direction of my receiver. The Jury is still out on whether this new feature is a plus or a minus. "The QB scrambles just by holding X (Turbo) instead of having to hit L2" I did not know this, but then again, my team is Da Bears and Rex Grossman isnt exactly Michael Vick, but I'll try it tonight fasho.

Honestly I was a little disapointed about how much has not changed. So much of the game is exactly the same as last year, besides the few differences already mentioned in this thread.

What also sucks is that I put it on All-Pro and I can already fuck up the computer even though I cant pass worth shit. Last year I remember it took a while before I got the hang of everything and started destroying the computer. It seems playing a regular season might become pretty boring (lets face it- there is NO FUN in playing the computer on All-Madden...it's stupid and too fake).

i feel you 20-sixxx, when i first started playing i was like, "fuck this passing shit." but as you get used to it, shit is alot better. you can make alot more passes that were damn near impossible to make in last years edition. and your right about not changing that much than the previous yr., but at the same time, i gotta imagine theres a ceiling to how high programmers to go (thats why i think nextgen will be the shit). but they fixed alot of shit from last yrs. as mentioned, and once you can get good at passing, i think this game will be fucking ill..........
