So I was fucking happy today because I finally got an IPod after waiting for the price to come down a little bit and saving the money. I open it up and it says I have to download ITunes, so I do. Then it says I need Windows XP or Vista to install ITunes so that I can put music on my IPod when all I wanted to do was put my CDs on the IPod. So now I'm disappointed because I can't use it yet and I'm calling friends to see if any of them have Windows XP so I can install it on my computer because I don't want to spend $100 for the software. Damn it.

are you sure itunes doesnt work on anything other than xp or vista??? im pretty sure it works on older windows too...maybe you need an older itunes software that does...

wat are you running?

I used my ipod with Windows 2000 Pro back in the day, and had no troubles at all. It even says in the owners manual that XP was needed, but you dont need it...

i dropped my ipod nano like literally no more than 2 feet, it has a rubber case around it and it landed on carpet and now it skips and freezes if you tilt it when its playing

shits retarded as fuck. piece of shit apple products and whatever shotty ass kind of harddrive it is thats fucked up

good luck. hope you dont plan to jog or walk around with it

its a flash hardrive, so its hard to fuck it up.. you probably dropped it and theres a loose connection from someone doing a bad soldering job. You can get a new ipod logic board for like a few bucks.

learn technology before you use it, that seriously sounds like a short in your headphones. my friend full on threw his at the wall, and the middle button came off, and you cant adjust the volume, but it dont skip or anyhting, still works fine
