go to fry's get an external hardrive with the usb 2.0 & firewire by IOMEGA it only hit be for 260 MB like 120 if you want 500 it will hit for like 200

ram isn't that expensive, the thing thats gonna get you is opening up the powerbook & doing the work. if it was a desktop, I'd say do that shit yourself by all means, but laptops are a bit more tricky. thing is you gotta do the research of exactly what kind of ram chip you need cuz 9 times out of 10 retailers won't know shit about macs

nobody else know? i went to the mac store the other day and they said they dont sell G4 RAM anymore, only G5 shit.. dude said order it online but thats wut i'm not tryna do, so i'm tryna find a reliable spot that sells it instore. right on for any more info

i baught the mbox pro bundle like 2 months ago, its kool, u will need at least 512 of ram, but its better if u have more, i have like 700 and sumthing and it works fine, and make sure u dont have windows media center, cause it wont work, for a weird reason it does work on my media center, but dont take the risk

jus go to best buy or sumthing and ask for ram and they will install it for ya.

oh and if u have a windows laptop, u can prob have it dual compatible, so u can buy like a 512 and if u have anotha 512 or 256 jus hook em up together.
