Anyone play this game? I read about it and it sounds like a game I've always dreamed about (being a commie rebel and ingniting a revolution to overthrow a currupt Central Amerikan country).
"Just Cause" plays like a jungle edition of "Grand Theft Auto." Both have giant landscapes to explore, and involve guns and stealing cars. But instead of working with the mob, you're starting a revolution to overthrow a Central American government.
This involves tasks such as going into villages to wipe out the cops, and starting a war between drug cartels. It's not for the kids. A fun part of "Just Cause" is the stunts; climbing on top of a moving car, then jumping onto your enemy, or using a grapple hook and a parachute to follow and hijack a vehicle.
The game has some flaws, such as giving you the ability to run up steep mountainsides, and the missions become repetitive. Also, there's some bad voice acting. This game could have been a lot better, but it's still worth a rental. Rated "M" for blood, drug reference, intense violence, language and sexual themes. (Ken Smith)
