I just finished watching that documentary. Generally I feel that its coverage of the Latin Kings was pretty weak. HBO only covered the rise & fall of King Tone, the Inca of the Latin Kings. The show didn't provide any background information on the group so unless you already know details of how they began or what the organization is like, you have to guess or make assumptions. For example it would be useful to know how many Kings & Queens there are and how wide of an area they cover. None of that information was provided. Also it seemed like Tone, his parents and the Latin Kings didn't really enjoy having a producer from HBO following them everywhere with a camera. It seemed awkward because you could tell they really didn't want to answer the cameraman's questions. It reminded me of the documentary video "PAC & BIGGIE"....the obnoxious cameraman captured the pain and suffering of the mother(s)...but none of the homeboys wanted him around. I think these videos could be done better....
