I swam in the willamette like 6-7 years back when the ships were comin in.. it was around 9/11 and they had barriers in the water around the ships so you couldnt get no where near them.. and we were comin from the north side in a boat and it was 90 somethin degrees and we were waiting to be escorted past the ships by the police.. they were only taking like 5 at a time... it was to fuckin hot so i jumped in and cooled off... got down the willamette up toward milwaukie and jumped in the cleaner water to rinse off it was just to hot.
